Warm upgraded bathroom with freestanding tub and wood accents

Bathroom Renovation · 3 Weeks

Warm Bathroom Upgrade

A chilly, slick family bath remade as a cosy walk-in shower space — grippier floors, softer on the eye, quicker to wipe.

Project Overview

The Challenge

A tired over-bath shower with crumbling grout, one basin shared by four, and a fan that never shifted mist — flaking paint gave it away. Storage meant a wire rack above the pan.

Our Approach

We swapped the tub for a flush-entry shower over a channel drain, raised a full basin wall with twin bowls and inset niches, and warmed large tiles with underfloor heat. A correctly rated hush fan plus layered mirror glow completed the comfort lift.

  • Curbless walk-in shower
  • Double vanity wall
  • Heated tile floor
  • Quiet high-power extraction

The Outcome

Mornings no longer queue for one tap; the shower opens flush and grippy, and the glass stays mist-free through correct ventilation. Flood-tested, photographed tanking hides behind each tile — covered by our 5-year promise.
